Last Week of Summer

Well, it is that time of year, summer is over and school is back in session. This was my last week without studying until December 22. So the family and I tried our best to make the most of it! I was fortunate enough to open at work both Saturday and Sunday which was nice because I was off my 1 pm, leaving plenty of the day to hang out.

First we went to CSU Chico to pick up some books and get my parking pass. While we were there we had a nice lunch at chipotle! I must admit, the carnitas burrito is amazing and their guacamole is second to none. After lunch we went to get my wife, Kylie's, eye exam and new glasses.

Next we went to the fair, which is an annual tradition of ours. I got to strap my son Graham to my chest and wear him for a few hours and he loved it!

We especially love the live wood carving they do, it is amazing how skilled these guys are with their tools (mostly the chainsaw though).

Lastly we went to Costco, which for most people is a pain, but Kylie and I love it! It is amazing in there, hahaha. We always try to get everything that we need for an entire month, it usually works out pretty well. It was a rather large trip this time because we got plenty of food for Kylie to make me lunches for school.

What a nice week! Now we are at home, preparing for the big week ahead. I have Monday to polish the last of my chores off and then it is school for my on Tuesday!
